- Sign up for our email list to receive monthly recipe updates.
- Prepare the featured recipe within the month.
- Comment on the recipe blog post by the end of February 28.
- Bonus Entry: Email a photo of your dish to cookingclub@loveandlemons.com.
- Another Bonus Entry: Post your photo on Instagram tagging @loveandlemons and using the hashtag #loveandlemonscookingclub.
The Prize: A $100 Whole Foods Gift Card!
At the end of this month, one lucky winner will receive a $100 Whole Foods gift card. Additionally, for every entry, we will donate $1 to No Kid Hungry.
This Month’s Recipe: French Toast
We’re kicking off our February challenge with a warm and comforting French toast recipe. You have two fun options to choose from:
- Classic French Toast with a custardy egg batter.
- Vegan French Toast using almond milk and cornstarch.
Both options are equally delectable. Top your French toast with fresh fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup for the perfect weekend breakfast!
Last Month’s Recipe Recap

- Veggie sausage (from Gina)
- Potatoes (from Stacy + Megan)
- Red wine (from Debbie)
- Parmesan rind (from Sarah + Naomi)
- Shiitake mushrooms (from Mel)
- Sun-dried tomatoes (from Donna)
- Red lentils (from Rebekah)
- Kidney beans in addition to white beans (from Katiun)
- Mayocoba beans instead of white beans (from Terri)

Thank you all for cooking along! A special congratulations to our winner, Haley!
