This fruit dip is creamy, flavorful, and lightly sweet. Easy to make with 5 ingredients, it’s perfect for parties, picnics, and as a healthy snack!
Meet our new favorite fruit dip recipe! I’m firmly of the mind that there are very few ways to improve fresh fruit (it’s already delicious!), but this fruit dip might be one of them.
I first started making it for my son Ollie, but it didn’t take long for me to start making it for myself too. I think it’s a perfect healthy snack. It’s fairly satisfying, thanks to a base of Greek yogurt and peanut butter, and it’s also delicious, with a smooth, creamy texture and sweet, nutty flavor.
Since we’re heading into summer, I’ll also mention that this easy fruit dip recipe would be great for cookouts and picnics. Serve it with a pile of colorful fresh fruit, and it’ll be a total crowd pleaser!
How to Make Fruit Dip
This fruit dip recipe seriously could not be easier to make. It calls for 5 basic ingredients:
- Whole milk Greek yogurt – Compared to cream cheese fruit dips or even marshmallow fluff, this yogurt base offers a delicious creamy texture and tangy flavor. It’s not merely dessert; it qualifies as a solid snack.
- Creamy peanut butter – It enhances the creaminess and adds a rich, nutty flavor. Almond butter works well here too!
- Honey – This provides the necessary sweetness, although you can replace it with maple syrup.
- Cinnamon – It contributes a warm depth of flavor.
- And sea salt – To enhance all the flavors!
Simply stir together all the ingredients in a medium bowl. Depending on the thickness of your yogurt, the dip might be a bit thick at this stage. Add water, 1 teaspoon at a time, as needed to achieve a creamy, scoopable consistency. That’s all there is to it!
